67th Republic Day of the country was celebrated in the premises of Punjab Police Academy, Phillaur. The Flag hoisting ceremony was performed by Sh. S.P.S. Parmar, IPS, DIG-cum-joint Director of the Academy. While addressing the gathering, he said that our country is facing number of challenges now a days and he emphasized on constructive participation of youth in building a happy and prosperou
s nation. He also highlighted the role which Police performing in making the people feel more secure and safe. He also asked every police personnel to lead a life based on values and principles and work selflessly to provide an effective police service in our country.
Sh. Parmar distributed sweets among the trainees and officials of the
Academy. Among others who were present on the occasion was Sh. Harjinder Singh, IPS, Dy. Director (Admn.), Mrs. Nilambri Jagdale, Dy. Director (Indoor), Sh. Gurnam Singh, PPS, Dy. Director (Gen.), Sh. N.K. Dogra, PPS, Dy. Director (Outdoor), and other officers of the Academy.
